The Ancient City, also known as Muang Boran, is a vast open-air museum located in Samut Prakan province, near Bangkok, Thailand. Covering over 200 acres, this unique attraction showcases replicas of over 100 significant historical sites and structures from Thailand's rich past. The Ancient City aims to preserve and present the country's cultural heritage in an engaging and accessible manner. Some of the notable replicas include ancient temples, royal palaces, and even entire villages, all meticulously constructed to scale. Visitors can explore these replicas via car, bicycle, or even on foot, taking in the beauty and intricacy of each structure.
