The Giant Swing, or Sao Chingcha, is a historic and iconic landmark located in front of Wat Suthat Thepwararam in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Standing approximately 21 meters tall, this monumental structure was originally constructed in 1784 during the reign of King Rama I. It was designed for the Triyampawai Ceremony, a traditional Brahmin ritual aimed at honoring the Hindu gods Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, and seeking blessings for prosperity and good harvests.
